“ I didn't think their award winning carrot cake would actually be any good. I was expecting dry or too sweet. It was completely delicious! Moist and perfect amount of sweetness. I'm craving for it now. Must go back. ”
“ The cupcakes were amazing, especially the raspberry chocolate ganache. The interior was very appealing, freshly decorated in Holiday decor, fresh flowers on the tables with festive coloring and food options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. ”
“ This place is the cutest. It is nestled in a ritzy shopping center where there are shops like Valentino, hermes, Louis Vuitton, ect. I honestly expected Mark Cuban and Jerry Jones to be walking around in this shopping center. I'm assuming it was highland park. Anyways this place is adorable and trendy! I got a few mini cupcakes just to try them. I was thinking why i was so crazy to get a mini one since it was so creamy and chocolatey. I should have gotten a regular cupcake! I'm not sure if I'll come back just because it's a bit out of the way from me, but may come back to walk around the shopping center again, this place is amazing! ”
“ Delicious and fun flavors for these mini cupcakes! I forgot everything that was ordered, but each one was nice and moist and had a perfect dallop of frosting without being overwhelming ”
“ I had to do some shopping at Highland Park Village and looked at the online list of dining options for the shopping area. Bird Bakery came up, which had a great picture of cupcakes that apparently left a lasting impression. Because after I finished shopping, Bird Bakery was still at the back of mind and enticed me enough to make a pit stop before heading out. I strolled into the bakery around 1:30pm. I was pleased to find that they had more than just cupcakes. They also had a display of cookies and other pastries. I appreciated how they offered mini versions of their regular cupcakes, which reminded me of the bite-sized Baked by Melissa cupcakes. I got a half-dozen of the mini cupcakes, and overall I thought they were fine. There wasn't anything really spectacularly different or unique about the cupcakes, but their flavors were on point. My favorites were the carrot cake, salted caramel, lemon, Elvis (peanut butter, banana, with chocolate chips), and chocolate icing on vanilla cake (recommended to me by my server). ”
“ This bakery is so cute! We got a couple cupcakes to try and they were all delicious. Cupcakes were moist and flavorful. They also have lunch options like sandwiches, soup, etc. Good spot to catchup with friends or pick up some sweet treats! ”
“ This is a great place to stop in if you live around Dallas! All of the baked goods I've tried have been great. I get the spinach and mushroom quiche almost every time I go! Their coffees and teas are always solid as well. Staff isn't overly friendly, but are efficient with the assembly line. It's a cute spot right in HPV. Depending on the time of day you go, it can have a long line, or be a quiet spot to enjoy some snacks and coffee. ”
“ My daughter and I were enjoying some Black Friday shopping in this beautiful shopping mall when we were ready for lunch. We were about to stop in Mi Cocina when I noticed this adorable bakery and suggested we check if they had real food. We were in luck because they had a great breakfast/lunch menu in addition to some amazing baked goods. My daughter got a grilled cheese, which she said was delicious mostly due to the amazing bread they used. I got a tuna salad protein plate, which was basically a scoop of tuna salad with some really tasty gluten free crackers on top of a salad. It was really good and felt good to eat healthy after the Thanksgiving weekend. I soon ruined the healthy vibe by trying one of their bite sized salted caramel cupcakes, but it was well worth it. They were also sampling their sugar cookies, which were pretty amazing. I also noticed they had a great selection of gluten free goodies. The atmosphere was friendly and laid back. They had some tvs set up in the back area for kids, which I would appreciate if I was there with little ones. I would definitely come back here for lunch or a treat when it town again! ”
